Knives Out<\/span>\u00a0is written and directed by Rian Johnson.\u00a0The film has been<\/span>\u00a0described as a “modern take on a classic whodunit” that pays tribute to Agatha Christie. it is a murder mystery where everyone is a suspect.<\/p>\n

Renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, and Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is mysteriously enlisted to investigate.<\/p>\n

Harlan Thrombey, played by\u00a0<\/span>Christopher Plummer, was a\u00a0<\/span>one-man crime-fiction industry. As a m<\/span>urder mystery novelist his adult children and grandchildren had all been living off him for years.\u00a0<\/span>So when he becomes a murder victim, it seems that none of his family have motive for killing him. <\/span><\/p>\n

At least, that\u2019s what the detectives assigned to the case think. <\/span><\/p>\n
