Agatha Raisin and the Vicious Vet<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Plot<\/h2>\n

Retired PR boss Agatha Raisin is enjoying life in her pretty Cotswold village of Carsely. It even seems likely that the attractive new vet, Paul Bladen, has taken a shine to her. But before romance can blossom, Paul is killed in an accident with Lord Pendlebury’s horse.<\/p>\n

Only the circumstances are rather suspicious.<\/p>\n

Agatha decides she must once more play amateur investigator. And this cloud has a silver lining – she can persuade her usually stand-offish neighbour, James Lacey, to become her partner in the quest. As usual, Agatha is quite prepared to rush in, heedless of the lurking menace to both James and herself.<\/p>\n

Review<\/h2>\n

This story begins with a new vet, Paul Bladen, moving into Carsley. Agatha Raisin, along with all the other ladies in the village decide to check him out……and all suddenly discover “something wrong” with their pets.<\/p>\n

But all is not as it seems. When he stands Agatha up on a dinner date, she phones his number and a woman answers claiming to be his wife.<\/p>\n

And soon Paul is killed in an accident…….or rather he is murdered!<\/p>\n

Someone in the village has a tale to tell. But before they can tell it, they are found dead too.<\/p>\n

An interesting read that shows how times have changed. Smoking in pubs for example.<\/p>\n
