I’ve just listened to The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman. I don’t normally listen to books, but I enjoyed listening to this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joyce is the newest member of the retirement village Thursday Murder Club. She begins the story of how they meet up once a week to investigate unsolved murders. The other members of the team are Elizabeth, Ibrahim and Ron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They might be pushing eighty but they still have a few tricks up their sleeves when they find themselves in the middle of their first live case…..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story flowed well, moving at a cracking pace. There are numerous characters, sub plots and additional murders. Plus there are lots of secrets from the past that suddenly find the light of day. To be fair, I followed most of the explanations and reveals, but did have to replay the final chapter to fully understand all the motives and killers identities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
