Don\u2019t you just love hearing Christmas carols such as \u201cDing Dong Merrily on High\u201d? Or how about the \u201cCarol of the Bells\u201d? And what about Jingle Bells? One of the best-known\u00a0songs in the world, it was written by\u00a0James Lord Pierpont\u00a0and published under the title \u201cThe One-Horse Open Sleigh\u201d in the autumn of 1857. Although it has no original connection to\u00a0Christmas,\u00a0<\/a>it became associated with\u00a0the holiday season\u00a0in the 1860s and 1870s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What would Christmas be without bells? or, more importantly, one bell in particular \u2013 Rudolph\u2019s sleigh bell. You see, without Rudolph\u2019s sleigh bell, Santa\u2019s sleigh can\u2019t fly\u2026..and someone had stolen this important Cascabel! \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This sounded like a job requiring the City Adventurers crime solving skills. So, we headed to The Concorde Club in Eastleigh to begin our investigations. As well as Mr and Mrs Claus, we were able to question a couple of fairies, the chief elf of the toy workshop, the reindeer handler and even Rudolph himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon we found ourselves not just investigating a theft, but a murder! Luckily Inspector Corner of the Yard was on hand to help us interrogate the suspects. Another wonderful, and seasonal, murder mystery from Murdered For Money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
