The award is part of the Harrogate International Festivals\u2019 Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival. The winner of this coveted award receives a cheque for \u00a33000 and an engraved oak beer cask, hand-carved by one of Britain\u2019s last coopers from Theakstons Brewery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
