When FBI agent John O\u2019Hara first meets Nora Sinclair, she seems perfect. She has the career. The charisma. The tantalising sex appeal. The whole extraordinary package \u2013 Nora doesn\u2019t attract men, she enthrals them. She\u2019s worked hard for this life and she will never give it up.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But why is the FBI so interested in Miss Sinclair? Mysterious things keep happening to the men in her life. And when Agent O\u2019Hara looks more closely he sees something dangerous in Nora \u2013 something that lures him at the same time as it fills him with fear. And the more time he spends with her the less he knows whether he is pursuing justice or his own fatal obsession.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Review<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve just finished reading Honeymoon by James Patterson and Howard Roughan. A story full of hidden identities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the narrator says throughout the book \u201cThings aren\u2019t always as they appear\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It starts as a \u2018black widow\u2019 story. A woman with multiple rich husbands\/fianc\u00e9s who get bumped off for their money. It is also a cat and mouse story with The Authorities trying to see if she is really a serial killer or just unlucky in love\u2026..(It doesn\u2019t take long for you to work out which applies).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as the main story there is a subplot concerning \u201cthe tourist\u201d. It is mentioned early on, then largely forgotten about, until it comes crashing in later and you have to look back and see what it referred to. This story line could have been left out in my opinion, although it did help explain how things came together in the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are plenty of twists and turns to keep the action moving along, and the ending is a real twist that I did not see coming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Much more enjoyable than other James Patterson\u2019s I\u2019ve read recently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honeymoon by James Patterson and Howard Roughan is a great holiday read that\u2019s hard to put down.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

James Patterson works with a variety of co-authors. Murder Games<\/a> is another book co-written by  Patterson with Howard Roughan. Just as Patterson is a former advertising executive, Roughan credits his keen writing skills to his years of work in advertising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
