With the body count rising, the package still missing and trouble firmly on their tail, has their luck finally run out? And who will be the last devil to die?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Review<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As I have said before, I am a fan of the Thursday Murder Club books, and was looking forward to reading this one. Reader be warned this one has a sad twist to it. Yes. you know its coming, but it still hits you like an emotional rollercoaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time Stephen’s friend Kuldesh Sharma is found murdered. Obviously the Thursday Murder Club leap into action to solve his murder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the local Police may have gotten used to their meddling, this time the team have to deal with the National Crime Agency\u2019s Senior Investigating Officer, Jill Regan. She has arrived to take the case off local police. In other words, Donna and Chris are working in the dark as much as the Thursday Murder Club are. Not that this is going to stop any of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time we see a different side to the main characters. Chris and Donna are soon sticking their noses in where they are (officially) not wanted. Joyce has to step up and be more Elizabeth as she suddenly finds herself taking charge. Even Ron and Ibrahim have to adopt different personas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main plot seems to concern drug smuggling and art forgery, however, there are a number of sub plots going on too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new resident at Coopers Chase, Mervyn Collins, falls foul of a love scam. Another new character, Bob Whittaker, who has computer skills, is introduced as a possible addition to the Murder Club. Viktor Illyich, the former high ranking KGB officer and Elizabeth’s opposite number, makes a reappearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A wonderful read. Highly Recommended<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
