As you might expect from a website called magnum-mania, the top place in the list of\u00a0America’s Top Sleuths goes to\u00a0Thomas Magnum,\u00a0the main character in\u00a0Magnum, P.I.<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n

The show, which starred\u00a0Tom Selleck\u00a0as Magnum, ran from 1980 to 1988. Magnum was a\u00a0private investigator in Hawaii. He lived in the guest house on Robin Masters’ estate, as security for the estate. This job came with an almost unlimited access to a Ferrari.<\/p>\n

He had a love-hate friendship with Higgins, who tried to\u00a0impose an orderly regimen on Magnum\u2019s disordered lifestyle. Other friends, who got roped in to help his investigations were\u00a0his former Vietnam comrades Rick and TC.<\/p>\n

2018 reboot<\/h2>\n

Jay Hernandez\u00a0will be playing Magnum in the soon to be shown reboot of the series. This time\u00a0Higgins becomes\u00a0Juliet Higgins, played by\u00a0Perdita Weeks.\u00a0The series is set to premiere on September 24, 2018.<\/p>\n
