Belonging to a book club

I recently read an article by Gretchen Rubin entitled “How a Book Club Can Make You Happier”. She wrote that, as ancient philosophers and contemporary scientists agree that strong relationships make people happier and that reading makes people happier, a book club must make people happier as it combines relationships and reading.

Eight science-backed reasons to read a print book

How can a book club make you happier

  • Belonging to a book club means that reading doesn’t get pushed to the bottom of the to-do list.
  • A book club helps you find different books to read and authors to experience, and in doing so, opens you up to new perspectives and ideas.
  • Being part of a book club helps you connect with new people who share similar interests and creates a feeling of community.

Solve The Murder Book Club

There are many different types of book club available.

You could say the Solve The Murder Book Club is a Category book club as it covers mystery and murder mystery books by various authors.

It could also be called a No-homework book club as not everyone reads the same book at the same time. There is no need to feel guilty for not reading a month’s selected book. After reading the review you may rush online and buy a copy (links are provided). Or you may decide not to bother! The choice is yours.

While books are selected and reviewed each month, additional books are also suggested. Readers can share their views of all books they are reading on Facebook.

We also offer “meet the author” events and book launches, both online and in person.

So consider joining the Solve The Murder Book Club and boost your happiness. Just click the link below:
