Christmas Gingerbread Cookies with a Side of Murder

This is a Daley Buzz Treasure Cove Cozy Mystery Book. Written by Meredith Potts, the audiobook is narrated by Stephanie Quinn. It was one of the books read (or heard) as part of the Solve The Murder Book Club for December.

Plot

A murder-for-hire plot. A wild twist. And gingerbread cookies.

Sabrina Carlson desperately wants to have a peaceful holiday.

As Christmas day quickly approaches, it doesn’t seem like that is going to happen.

There is a killer on the loose in Treasure Cove. And they have covered their tracks very well.

Will Sabrina be able to find a way to catch the killer? Or will her Christmas be ruined?

Review

Well, it passed the time is about the best I can say. A quick read but not engaging. Sabrina and her husband investigate the case, with her being impressed that people have to talk to him if he waves his police badge. She fears the case will ruin her Christmas celebrations. However, she stops them attending a party because she doesn’t feel like going. That is the same party where her friends experience the most amazing Christmas Gingerbread Cookies. The murderer is caught but, it seems, with little input from Sabrina. All a bit blah.
