The Stolen Necklace Mystery is a 980 piece Scene of the crime Jigsaw puzzle, made by Goliath. This box contains two puzzles to be completed then used to solve the crime. Also included is a story pamphlet, photos of the completed puzzles and the solution envelope.

This is not your typical murder mystery jigsaw.
There has been a theft and you have to solve the crime.
At first we expected a booklet containing a long and detailed plot. Instead this box has a small pamphlet outlining the story. This is a bit like Exit puzzles and caters for a range of languages. Were we worried about not have a mini book to read? No this did not detract from enjoying the puzzles.
To solve the crime you have to complete two jigsaws.
Start with envelope A and note what you find in the picture. Leave it constructed while you assemble the jigsaw in envelope B. This requires that you have space to complete both puzzles at once. The task was made trickier by the puzzle pieces themselves, which do not stay together well.
The edges of both puzzles have a hidden border. Could this be a clue to solving the crime?
Yes, we did solve the crime but the ending was a bit of a let down.
From a puzzle that offered so much promise, we expected more. It seems we were not the only ones who were disappointed with the solution. A quick check online and we found other saying they found the words and were looking for what to do next. (spoiler – the words are the solution) So we were not alone in thinking there should be more.
