The City Adventurers headed to Wonderland, where the Mad Hatter had invited us to a secret party to launch his new selection to teas……
Although we had been sworn to secrecy as the Queen of Hearts hasn’t been invited, her majesty turned up. This threw the White Rabbit into a panic. Well, even more of a panic than usual. It seemed that was not the only thing not going to plan with this party.
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum had had some sort of disagreement and could not be in the same room as each other. The Knave was being a moody teenager and getting up to his old tricks. The Mad Hatter tried to placate the Queen by explaining about his new tea, without mentioning Alice’s involvement. Meanwhile, the Cheshire Cat was trying to solve a mystery……..when, all of a sudden, there was A MURDER!
Murdered For Money were performing their latest play – Murder in Wonderland.
Being Wonderland we could not be joined by Inspector Corner. Luckily the King of Hearts took over the role of chief investigator.
A great night by a wonderful team of performers.
